Agreement in the Danish manufacturing industries
Dear colleagues
Last night a new agreement was reached in the Danish manufacturing industry.
The main elements of the agreement are described in the attached document.
Due to the many important clauses, which are not directly wage related, it is difficult to give a precise cost of the agreement. We do estimate it to be above 1 %.
Please be reminded that this agreement will be substantially supplemented with negotiations at enterprise level.
Independent experts have predicted that the total outcome (national and enterprise level) will be between 4 and 4,5 %
The agreement needs to be approved by a ballot.
