Collective Agreement in the Technology Industry reached
COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY
The main planks in the agreement of the technology industry (metal industry):
The agreement period is February 16, 2005 - September 30, 2007
The wage increases 1.3.2005, with a cost effect of 2,5%:
- 24 cent/h or 40,54 euro/month, but no less than 2,0%
- Union sector allowance 3 cent/h or 5,24 euro/month
- The union sector allowance will be used on the basis of a local (workplace) agreement.
- The job-related hourly pay (pay scale wages) will be increased by 24 cent/h with unaltered interrelations.
The wage increases 1.6.2006, with a cost effect of 1,9%:
- General increase 1,6 per cent
- Union sector allowance 0,3 per cent
- The job-related hourly pay (pay scale wages) will be increased by 1,9 percent with unaltered interrelations.
The special compensations (for instance compensations for evening and night work) will be increased accordingly.
The pay system will be developed, for instance the part of the individual salary and the grounds for specifying that were renewed.
A special bonus will be paid for professional examinations taken.
Monthly compensations to shop stewards and health and safety representatives
These compensations increase with effect from 1.3.2005. The lowest monthly compensation is 50€ and the highest 140€.
The branch-specific coefficients for calculating the health and safety representatives’ time reserved for health and safety duties will be changes so that their average will rise.
International representatives
The protection against dismissal for such a personnel representative and his/her deputy who is elected into international work within a group of companies will follow the contracts of employment act.
This collective agreement is part of an incomes policy settlement which includes among other things an agreement for security during restructuring of working life. It improves the possibilities for dismissed employees to train themselves into a new profession and to seek a new job already during the time of notice
