For your information: POEM signed collective agreements in "metal industry" and "small industry"
We would like to inform you that POEM has recently signed the Collective Labor Agreements for the branch. We remind you that we conclude four CLAs :
- for metal industry workers
- for small industry workers
- for silver and gold industry workers and
- for car bodies workers.
By this we pass information on the metal industry workers CLA and the small industry workers CDA. These CLAs cover the majority of the branch.
COLLECTIVE LABOUR AGREEMENT FOR METAL INDUSTRY WORKERS
Date of conclusion: 30.07. 2004 Duration: 2 years Valid: 01.01.2004 - 31.12.2005 Bargaining level: National - Sector Coverage of the agreement: Blue collar workers (100.000)
Has been signed between POEM and the employers’ sociations of metal industry
Wage increases: 2004: 4% from 01.01.04 and 2,5% from 01.09.2004 total: 6,5% 2005: 3% from 01.01.05 and 3,5% from 01.09.05 total: 6,5%
COLLECTIVE LABOUR AGREEMENT FOR SMALL INDUSTRY WORKERS
Date of conclusion: 22.07. 2004 Duration: 2 years Valid: 01.04.2004 - 31.12.2005 Coverage of the agreement: Blue collar workers (50.000) Bargaining level: National - Sector Has been signed Decision of the Intervention and Arbitration Organisation
Wages Increases: 2004: from 20.04.04 4% and 3% from 01.07.04 total 7% 2005: from 01.01.05 3% and 3% from 01.07.05 total 6%
In both Agreements clauses of the National General Collective Labour Agreement (which is concluded by Greek General Confederation of Labour and Greek Industries Association) concerning increase of severance pay, increase of leave for students, various social benefits etc., are included.
