International trade union support for Slovenian workers at Palfinger d.o.o
The EMF Slovenian affiliate SKEI has informed us of the difficult situation faced by workers at Palfinger d.o.o. in Maribor, Slovenia.
Trade union SKEI at Palfinger d.o.o. announced strike starting March 11th until the fulfilment of their demands.
- The 20% increase of wages by March 1st 2010
- No reduction of present workers’ rights in the negotiation of company collective agreement.
The EMF has sent the letter to the management of Palfinger d.o.o. in support of our collegues.
Therefore, the EMF calls on all affiliates to follow its lead, giving full support to the Slovenian colleguaes by sending letters in support of SKEI trade union demands to:
