New Collective Agreements Signed in the Metal Sector
Dear Colleagues
Following a hard and difficult period of bargains the Administration of POEM has concluded 4 Collective Labor Agreements:
- C.L.A. for the workers of the metal industry:
From 1/1/08 increase of 3%
From 1/9/08 increase of 3,5%
From 1/1/09 increase 3%
From 1/9/09 increase 3,6%
The cumulative increase in years 2008 and 2009 is 13,76%
- C.L.A. for the workers of the metal small industries:
From 1/1/08 increase of 3%
From 1/9/08 increase of 3,5%
From 1/1/09 increase of 3%
From 1/9/09 increase of 3,5%
The cumulative increase in years 2008 and 2009 is 13,65
For the workers of the car bodies enterprises:
From 1/1/08 increase of 3%
From 1/7/07 increase of 3,5%
From 1/1/09 increase of 3%
From 1/7/09 increase of 3,3%
The cumulative increase in years 2008 and 2009 is 13,43%
- C.L.A. for the workers of the Gold and Silver enterprises:
From 1/7/08 increase of 7%
From 1/1/09 increase of 3%
From 1/9/09 increase of 3,5%.
The cumulative increase in years 2008 and 2009 is 14,04%.
The above Collective Labor Agreements are in force from 1/1/2008 until 31/12/2009.
Dear Colleagues
It must be noted that the CLA’s of POEM apply to the minimum salaries in the metal branch. Our affiliated organizations retain the right to further improve the wages and day-wages of the metal workers, through company’s agreements, keeping the increases of the minimum wages as a benchmark.
