On the 16 of June there has been a new agreement between FIM-FIOM-UILM and the employers' federation. It is a merger of all previous agreements (national contracts) in the craft metal industries facilities, dental labs and goldsmiths into one national contract.
This contract covers nearly 500.000 workers coming from 150.000 businesses.
In addition to an average increase of E86, the agreement amends among other things, the provisions on part-time work, fixed-term contracts, the integration contract and apprenticeship.
The agreement doesn't include any "open clause" or deviation.
More details and information especially on fixed term contracts and apprenticeship will be given in the summer school.
