New agreements
After whole year of negotiations we finished this action. In metal industry we have 3 new collective agreements:
1. For DL / 30,31,32 and 33 - Mfr. of electrical and optical equipment and for DK / 29.11 - Mfr. of electrical house apparatus
2. For DJ / 28 - Mfr. of fabricated metal, not machines and for DM / 34 and 35 - Mfr. of transport equipment
3. For DJ / 27 - Mfr. of basic metals.
The first and the second collective agreements are in force from 10th December, the third signatured at 29th of December. We estimate that all of three collective agreements will cover over 100.000 employees (both blue and white collar workers). Three collective agreements have total new text because employers called off previous common collective agreement. We defend all former workers’ rights. The most important novelties are:
parity body in company for working time agreements (flexibility and humanity)
parity body in company for monitoring of job contracts for fixed time
contractual punishment of employer for discrimination on work
flexibility working time on yearly average and for over time on 6 month average
leave from 4 weeks to 37 working days
paid hours / days for trade union work (in company 2 hours per year per trade union member and additional 35 days at state / branch level and 15 days at regional level per year)
at least 80% repayment of travel cost on work and from work, for pupils and students on work too
higher jubilee rewards for 10, 20 and 30 years at work and for 40 years service at the last employer
higher solidarity help in money from employer
extra protection for wages of old workers
payments for detachable workers (directed workers on temporary work in foreign country)
abolition of starting point wages and introduction of higher basic wages
real increase of basic wages for 1% and negotiation at company level for additional wages increase on basic of productivity.
