New collective agreement for senior salaried employees 24/09/2007
YTN – Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland and the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries has agreed new collective agreement for senior salaried employees on July 2nd 2007. The agreement is valid immediately and is valid until April 30th 2010.
As a result of negotiations the wage increases are:
- Cost effect in years 2007 and 2008 is 7.2%-8.5%
- A lump sum of 12% from the one month salary or minimum 350€ by the end of August 2007
- October 1st 2007 3.4% general increase plus 0.5%-1.0% local increase to be negotiated locally.
- October 1st 2008 general increase 2.5% plus 0.8%-1.6% local increase to be negotiated locally.
There is also agreed as an option to start negotiations 31st May 2009 of increase level paid in 1st October 2009. At the same time it parties may research possibilities to continue agreement period. If parties don’t reach continuous agreement until 31st May 2009 each party may cancel this agreement to terminate 30th September 2009.
YTN is negotiation organisation of 20 tradeunions. UIL and TEK are the biggest unions in YTN and also members of EMF.
