UIL and TEK unions and its striking members stopped the strike following the satisfactory conclusion of talks with the National Conciliator Sunday 6 November. UIL and TEK obtained the wage increase they had been demanding.

which will be included in the collective bargaining demands of all its 75 affiliated trade unions and in future collective bargaining rounds throughout Europe over the next four years.
