This year’s agreement in the Norwegian collective bargaining round
This year’s agreement in the Norwegian collective bargaining round
Dear colleagues,
Late Thursday evening the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and their counterpart NHO reached an agreement settling this year’s collective bargaining round in Norway. As this is a regulation of the second year of last years main agreement, this year’s agreement is all about wage increase. The negotiations are held on the basis of the economic situation at the time of bargaining and the outlook on the second year of the main agreement as well as the price and wage development of the first year of the main agreement. The results are as follows:
There will be a general wage increase of NOK 2.50 and an increase of NOK 1 for those agreements which are below 90% of the average wage. For Fellesforbundet this includes the agreements on textiles and clothing and one agreement in the green sector. There will be local negotiations on the basis of the economic reality of each workplace. These negotiations will decide the total wage increase of each of our members. The expected value of the agreement is 4.5%.
Best regards and wishes for a happy Easter,
Fellesforbundet
